Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2008, I completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction. I have experience advising onshore and offshore clients, including both trustees and beneficiaries, regarding wealth and succession planning. I have advised family lawyers on tax and trust matters in connection with pre and post nuptial agreements and in the context of ancillary relief proceedings. I have also established several charitable trusts and companies and successfully registered a number of charities with the Charity Commission.
I formerly worked as a trading assistant at a hedge fund and I speak fluent French following a year working in France whilst at Edinburgh University studying French and History.
I am a member of STEP having obtained a Distinction in the qualifying tax exam and I was named one of Eprivateclient’s 2014 “Top 35 Under 35”.
